A Veteran's Ministry
Rev. Dr. Fredric “Rick” Boyle, founder and president of The Mighty 30. He is a veteran of the U.S. Army with ten years of Active Duty and 14 years in the reserves. He retired in 2007 as a Sergeant First Class.
In 2009, he became a chaplain candidate with the Maryland Defense Force (MDDF) and served as MDDF Command Chaplain from 2017 to 2024. The Lord called me to chaplaincy, and graduate from Liberty University in 2012 with a Master of Divinity Chaplaincy in 2012. Dr. Boyle completed four units of Clinical Pastoral Education (CPE) and became a board-certified clinical chaplain and a Board Certified Training Supervisor Chaplain with the Anton Boisen Institute of Clinical Pastoral Training (ABICPT). He graduated from Liberty University with a Doctorate of Ministry Chaplaincy with High Distinction in May 2023.
The Mighty 30 is based at the Platoon Veteran Services Center (VSC) and provides chaplain support, counseling, and spiritual care for veterans.
